This should not be the first book you read. There is a fair amount of language that beginners and non-traders may find tricky to understand. There are a lot of lessons applicable to modern trading within this book and delivered through an interesting and inspiring story. I also think the performance of the narrator on this version is better than the other versions available. I liked this book as it is a good insight into what the stock market was like over years ago and the entertaining Journey of Livingstone Livermore.

Did lose interest a little near the end but overall a good listen. Narrator is, in opinion, trying so hard to speak credibly as the main character, that it makes him not likeable. It's a relief when he's not in first person for a few sentences. Also, it's as if he was out of breath for the latter part of almost every sentence - makes listening experience heavy. Told in a story format this book offers great timeless lessons of a stock trader.
