Keep as Vigorth Votes: 10 Keep as Slakoth Votes: 3 9. Total voters Status Not open for further replies. Would you let your Vigoroth evolve into a Slaking or would you keep it as Vigoroth?
I choose Vigoroth because of its ability to stay awake. Just to see what people think. Silver Dragonair OMG internetz. No seriously, despite not only having to attack once every two turns. It has a base attack of If it didnt have traunt it'd be better than most legendaries. Slaking rocks. I guess that doesn't make me a n00b after all. Everyone has different opinions. Vigoroth's ability of keeping itself awake is a really good one. Plus Vigoroth's attack isn't bad either i know it is nothing compared to slaking.

User Info: Wyrlwynd. Slaking is such a powerhouse that you can't keep it as a Vigoroth Heard this exchange at my school: Teacher: "You got a 0 out of 50 on your quiz. He does the loafing around all the time. And i agree that its really annoying. If your in a tough battle Slaking can lose a ton of HP due to his loafing around.
This is the place where my signature is meant to be, but I can't seem to find a pen. User Info: gbchaosmaster. That's why the way to play Slaking correctly competitively is to avoid it losing HP through Truant.
Ingame, his stats are so humongous it doesn't matter. User Info: Ojcar. User Info: PokeAMon. Its physical defense is actually the same as its Aegislash's Shield Form, so boosting Doublade with an Eviolite could really give you an edge in battle no pun intended.
Additionally, Doublade looks rather cooler than its final evolution, which is an additional bonus. However, if you want to keep it cute, don't evolve it. Its next two evolutions of Dusclops and Dusknoir are definitely not easy on the eyes.
If you really want to evolve it, stop at Dusclops and use the Eviolite item for a more powerful setup. Golbat is another popular choice for partnering up with an Eviolite item.
When it was first introduced in generation one, Golbat evolved from Zubat but didn't have any further evolutions. However, with the release of generation two, Crobat was added, with Golbat being able to evolve into Crobat with high friendship with the player.
Golbat has a good range of stats already, making it a prime option for an Eviolite item, which arguably makes it even better than Crobat is stat-wise. In contrast to Solgaleo and Lunala who are very powerful, Cosmoem and Cosmog aren't much help in battle.
And while it does seem like an obvious choice to evolve Cosmog until it becomes its strongest final form, there's a good reason to leave it unevolved. Luckily Stufful, the lesser of two evils, is friendly enough to keep as a pet.
It only tends to become violent and dangerous if touched or angered. This is still a much better alternative to Bewear, who has a really bad habit of killing humans with its hugs. They do not have any attacking moves of their own and instead rely on using their opponent's attacks against them.
Because of this, Wynaut and Wobbuffet can be extremely frustrating and annoying to deal with in a battle. Jessie of Team Rocket knows this firsthand with a headache-inducing Wobbuffet of her own.
